Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa Hudgens was born in Salinas, California and grew up with younger sister Stella Hudgens who is also an actress. Her father an American, Greg Hudgens and her mother, Gina Guangco, was born in the Philippines. In regards to her ethnic background, Vanessa was quoted: "Pretty much I'm Filipino and Caucasian, but within that, I'm Spanish, Chinese, American Indian,Irish." She made her screen debut in 2004 and she appeared in the Hollywood films Thirteen and Thunderbirds, before reaching fame in the 2006 hit Disney Channel film, High School Musical. She also started a music career and released her debut album, entitled V, in 2006. She also is the spokesperson for Neutrogena. She also was a special guest with the Dancing With The Stars.
