It's not surprising that Cheryl Burke's fierce dancing and passionate style got her noticed by scouts from "Dancing With The Stars." The two series champion was competing fervently in Los Angeles with partner Jose DeCamps, when she was first spotted. The rest is history. She is originally from San Francisco, California. She was born May 1984 in Northern California. Her heritage is Filipino, Irish, Russian descent. She was 4 years old when she was introduced to the world of dance in her first ballet class. She started ballroom dancing at age 11 years and haven't stopped since! She is switching from New York scene to Hollywood scene. She was a Nominee PrimeTime Emmy 2006, for Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Art Direction For A Variety/Music Program/Special. In 2005 she won World Cup Latin Professional Rising Star Champion. She is now 23, from working the red carpet to numerous ABC publicity stints, Cheryl is doing it all. In fact PhilippineNews.com recently reported that a simple one-hour private lesson with in demand dancer sold for a shocking $31,000 at an upscale high school fundraiser in Atherton, California. Last year, milongapartner had an opportunity to take some classes from her in Woodland Hills, California. She is one of milongapartner favorite teachers. Congratulation Cheryl!
