Richard Gere

Richard Gere is an American actor. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents were Homer George Gere who was an Insurance Agent and Doris Anna who was a homemaker. During the 1990 & 2000 he starred in several well received films, Pretty Woman, Primal Fear and Chicago for which he won a Golden Globe Award as Best Actor. In 2004 he appeared opposite Jennifer Lopez in a ballroom dancing drama, Shall We Dance?
