Milongapartner visited Dr. Jose Rizal Monument, the National Hero of the Philippines last February 9, 2007. Not too far from there is the Wall of Intramuros. He was in the Manila for two weeks. He stayed in Rockwell at the Manansala Towers accross from the Rockwell Power Mall. He also went to Cebu and enjoyed the Shangrila Resort in Mactan. He was also a guest at a private resort in Los Banos, Laguna. He enjoyed the buko pie and the buko juice. While in Manila, he visited his only aunt who is 95 in Quezon City. He had lunch with her Tita Ampie and close families. He also had a buffet lunch at the Shangrila Hotel in Makati. This is the best buffet in Makati. He attended the Valentine Dinner Dance Party hosted by her cousin Arlene C. Arce who is a well known celebrity caterer in Manila. The food was delicious French, Spanish and Pilipino Fusion dishes and the live music was orchestrated by her husband Rudy Arce. The shopping was great at the Greenbelt in Makati, the food and hopia in China Town and the Mall of Asia one o f the largest mall in Asia and the whole world is in Manila near the Ninoy Aguino International Airport. Milongapartner had a great time vacationing in the Philippines.
